Blue Crew Social Bear Dance Gathering – May 28th

One of goals of creating Larkspur4Democracy was to have a social aspect where we could come together as friends and neighbors over a cocktail or meal. We are happy and excited that this has come to fruition!

Thanks to Chris Cote, the organizer of Blue Crew Social, and Danette Swain, our Co-Event coordinator, we are teaming up and launching our first Social on Thursday, May 28, from 5-7 p.m. at Bear Dance Golf Club, 6630 Bear Dance Drive in Larkspur. These events will occur monthly on last Thursday of the month. Because this venue is space limited, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!

In case you are not familiar with Blue Crew Social, Chris Cote originally started this group a few years ago in Castle Rock, and it was formerly known as “Eating and Drinking Liberally”. Since last year he has added groups in Sterling Ranch/Roxborough, Lone Tree, Parker, Aurora, and now in our own little town of Larkspur!

What to expect:
The current plan is to meet the last Thursday of the month, schedule permitting at Bear Dance Golf Club. Events run 5-7 pm, but people often linger later. Feel free to come or go as needed.
Drinks, appetizers and dinner may be ordered off the main menu. We also encourage you to tip your servers liberally! First time guests are very much encouraged! About 45 minutes in, we do a welcome, provide some info about the group, point to some activism opportunities or groups to get involved with, and offer a toast on recent news.

You can find Blue Crew Social of Douglas County on Facebook, but Meetup will remain the primary hub for scheduling socials and RSVPs to them.
