SUMMARY:Blue Crew Social Bear Dance Gathering - May 28th
DESCRIPTION:One of goals of creating Larkspur4Democracy was to have a social aspect where we could come together as friends and neighbors over a cocktail or meal. We are happy and excited that this has come to fruition! \nThanks to Chris Cote\, the organizer of Blue Crew Social\, and Danette Swain\, our Co-Event coordinator\, we are teaming up and launching our first Social on Thursday\, May 28\, from 5-7 p.m. at Bear Dance Golf Club\, 6630 Bear Dance Drive in Larkspur. These events will occur monthly on last Thursday of the month. SUMMARY:Flag Day Rally and ICE Scream Social - Larkspur Park
DESCRIPTION:Come join Larkspur4Democracy on Flag Day June 14th at Larkspur Park where we will be taking our flag back from the MAGA false patriots by holding our 3’ x 5’ flags hand-to-hand bordering Spruce Mountain Road.  Fifty flags will equate to 250 feet\, one foot for every year since our country has been founded.  If we have a similar turn-out of 300 people as we did for No Kings 2 and 3\, that could be over a quarter of a mile long line of flags!  Will you join us in showing our true patriotism to the USA\, pre-Trump era? We will not give up and we will regain our democracy by letting our voices be heard as granted by the First Amendment!!  \nIn conjunction with showing our patriotism\, we will protest the immoral\, harsh\, unconstitutional and illegal actions of the corrupt Trump regime. No more ICE detention centers and ICE killings of innocent people. No more ICE funding. Bring a sign to protest any of the horrible actions taken by this regime.  We will have a special focus on ICE as we then will have an ice cream (aka ICE Scream) social at pavilion #2 where you can converse with your like-minded neighbors for a relaxing and fun time in the park with music\, games and laughter!  Participate as you wish and bring your lawn chairs. Drinks\, ice cream and other snacks will be provided. And perhaps you will be able to have some cake and eat it too. \nWe will have extra signs for you to borrow and if you need a 3-foot x 5-foot flag\, we will have them for you to keep for a $5 donation to support this event\, otherwise it is free.
